My name is Marti, I live in Cincinnati Ohio. The house my husband and I have, has alot of activity. There's so much I dont know were to begin. 15 yrs worth, of stuff I can tell you about. I'm very interested in Ghosts, EVP's or anything really that has to do with the Paranormal. I have two grown son's, that moved out of this house when they were 15-16 yrs old because of this house. [Shock] =)

We used to raise and show dog's Dobermans, Boxers.. We know have a less hyper breed the English Mastiff's. I used to show Quarter and Paint horses also. Now we like fishing, and walking are dog's in the park... Taking life slower now and enjoying it more.

I want to try and learn how to collect EVP's, I bought a digital recorder and want to see if I can record anything that's different sounding in my home. I'm also going to set up a video camera.. and see if I can capture anything this way. I purchased a better digital camera in hopes of being able to capture it on camera. My husband a none believer in Spirits or Ghosts, is finally starting to believe somewhat.

Anyway.. Thank you for allowing me to join your group..

Hello and welcome! There's a lot of great information here. I hope that you will like your time spent here and find what you are looking for. I look forward to reading about your experiences.

I have had 3 boxers myself. =) My first boxer Jaeger was my heart dog. I even recently started a new forum just for boxers. The first dog I ever had though was a doberman.

Hi Marti,
You are welcome as a new member, and it sounds like you have had an interesting life. Your house sounds interesting!! Have you taken any pictures or tried to record any EVP there? It sounds like a great candidate! Do you know the history of the house and the land it stands on? That may have a great deal to do with paranormal activity there. What sorts of things did your boys experience? You will have to tell us in our ghost forum.

I, too, love dogs and horses. Our dog is a Beagle named Doc Holliday. He is a real character, and just a little too smart sometimes... like when my husband is pulling weeds in the back yard, Doc does the same thing! He doesn't eat them, but just drops them and moves on to another one. No one ever taught him this... he learned by watching Bill. We laugh at him so often.

I have loved horses all my life, and rode every chance I had when I was younger. I had friends with horses, as so that was a lucky break. I wrangled horseback riding for guests at a guest lodge near Greer, Arizona, one summer. Just a basic stable hand and dude wrangler, but I loved it. My favorite horse to ride was a Quarter Horse gelding named Pecos Pan. He was a beautiful bald faced sorrel. He knew several voice commands and was trained as a roping horse. I have wished all of my life that I could own a horse, but never got the chance. Maybe in my next life?? LOL I draw horses, instead, and lots of other things, too.

Enjoy yourself here at SpiritKeep! If you need anything, just one of our moderators or Kell or myself. We will be happy to help!

Hi Marti! It's nice to meet you and welcome to the forum. I'm looking forward to hearing about your experiences in your current home.

I have to say, I share your love of dogs! My husband and I have 4 dalmatians who are definitely spoiled beyond a shadow of a doubt! Honestly sometimes, I think that they think they're really little people!

Looking forward to your posts. Make yourself at home and enjoy!
