First I will introduce myself a little. My name is Cindy. I was Born and raised in florida and still live there (42 years - guess i gave my age away). I have alot of interest, especially the paranormal and everthing that goes with it. I read alot about it and watch anything on TV about it. I am really fascinated by "Hauntings". There are many haunted places I would love to visit, the main one being "Waverly Hills Sanitorium" in Kentucky. I will say, This has not been a good year for me. I lost a really great guy friend, that I have known for 30 years, back in January...drug overdose. He just turned 42. I lost my dad the day after "Mother's Day" of this year (May 15, 2006) he had a massive stroke February 18, 2006, one month before his 90th birthday. He survived for 3 month's and they did not think he was going to make it when he was first admitted, they gave him a 10% chance of pulling thru, but he did and had his 90th birthday. A week ago, my boyfriend got a call about a very close friend who we hang out with all the time, that I have known over 10 years (he has known her longer), she passed away in her sleep of a heart attack, she just turned 42 in February. Her husband was out of town for a week and when he came home, he found her. It has been really hard on us, with all of this, I'm trying to understand it all. They say it happens in 3's, and that last one was the 3rd one. Well, that was my intro. Hi Cindy, and welcome to SpiritKeep! You certainly have had a pretty tough year so far. I send you my blessings and wishes for all to get a little brighter for you and your friends. That is so difficult to go through so much is rapid order, like this seems to have been.

I think it is just terrific that your Dad made it to see his 90th birthday. My Father died back in 1995, just a month and three days before his 90th birthday. He had Alzheimer's, and was in a rest home. I don't know if he would have even understood the occasion.
