I wasn't sure where to post this question, but this seemed like a good a place as any (my way of saying, if it's the wrong place I don't mind it being moved to another area! *warm laugh*)

What I was wondering was, if it would be okay to invite someone else I know here, and register them? (I know they have to be approved, like I was though)

Like me, they're spiritual, and having raved about this place to them, they had a look at the site and very much liked what they saw too =)

The only way to describe them is well... my spiritual twin. *huge smile* In so many ways, we are so alike, it's as if we were separated at birth! Having them here would mean a great deal to me, but of course I'd entirely understand if - for whatever reason - that wasn't possible. *warmly* As I said, I've no desire to upset anyone by just registering them without checking if it was okay to do so first, so I shall just cross my fingers, and hope for the best, at this point! =)

If you DO say it's okay to register them, I'll go right ahead and do that. I know they'd really love to be a part of this place *laughing* They had to almost drag themselves away from this site last night, apparently!

Whatever you decide, thanks again, for making me feel so welcome that immediately wanting my twin to be here too, was something I didn't even have to think about... and that tells me an awful lot about this place, and the way it makes you feel when joining..! *huge smile*

Moonlight, it is just fine to invite anyone you like to join SpiritKeep. The only thing that we ask is that any member follow the rules, and that is about the only requirement. It would be delightful to meet your "spiritual twin"! I am glad to hear that they liked our forum, too!

*warmly* Well thank you for putting my mind at rest on that one, both of you =) I've registered them as "Starlight" and used their e-mail addy to do it, so hopefully there shouldn't be any problems. *crosses fingers again*

They also said that they may be quiet the first few days, as they plan on reading lots of interesting areas on SK first!

Can't say as I blame them for that, either... *grins* You should have a health warning or something here; "Caution - this place is addictive!"

*Slightly more seriously* I have read my way around parts this place (well, I had to have something to do to keep myself out of trouble) and I am very impressed with all the work that has gone into making each part so different to each other.... That's not something I've seen in many places....

The range of topics is wonderful too... Speaking of which, aside from religion (see, that was mentioned in a thread I was reading... *laughing*) , is there anything that is a no-no to start a thread about? (I'm figuring the usual, politics, religion and sex).

As far as no - no posts, as long as you stick to the board guidelines there shouldn't be any problems. But I have a feeling you know what you can and can't post. This place is like a cyber home for us. You should feel comfortable to share and not be afraid of any judgement. Mare and Kell created this nook on the web as a haven for people who have been burned in the past at other sites for expressing themselves. We encourage everyone to be creative and share thier thoughts. We are quite open-minded here.
