Ghosty, when my father passed away, I had a similar experience. I was sitting alone with him in his hospital room, talking to him about crossing over. I noticed several beams of light in the corner of the room, and although he was not able to respond to anything, he was watching that corner of the room very intently and his eyes widened. He saw something there.

A nurse stepped into the room and remarked in a startled voice, "where are those lights coming from?" I looked at her and never said anything, and she hurriedly shut the door again.

In my heart, I believe it was at that time that his soul left his body. He passed just a short time later. I've always been curious if other people in the medical profession have ever experienced this phenomenon.

I don't think what you saw was anything to be frightened of. Death is just a part of living. In your place of work, I'm sure it is met on a very frequent basis. Just think of those lights as being something that helps people on to their next level of existence. [Wink]
