Hi Katt,
I wanted to go to New Orleans, actually I was inivited by some people I had helped out after Katrina. Sadly I don't think my back can make the trip.
Anyways, my sons are happy I am not going. So Mom can cook ya' know? LOL
My four year old grandson Bobby is excited about Thanksgiving. He just found out he likes Turkey LOL!
We used to go to one of our Mom's houses for Turkey Day but now that the boys are grown with families of their own........theres too many of us! So Grandma (myself) has the dinner.
LOL My DIL's have no wish to cook. I have tried to teach them but they don't want to learn. Oh well? LOL
I have been at the kids about doing something different, together as a family. Something really fun for all of us. So for Christmas Day we are all meeting at an indoor waterpark/lodge and spending the day and night togther. That will be different.
I have been looking for different recipes for Turkey Day, found a couple I tried and one was really good! Sweet Potatoes with chipotle peppers and adobe sauce mixed in them. It really is different and good!
Happy Holiday planning to all!
Hugs,
Peggy

I'm going to be spending at least part of the day and dinner at one of my brother's house. His new wife and himself will be cooking dinner. It's a break for me. =) =) =)

I'll be traveling up to the Arkansas/Missouri border to visit my biological father. This will be the first Thanksgiving we've been together in 35 years. We're spending a few days up there and maybe visiting Branson or Eureka Springs and hopefully getting a little Christmas shopping in.
