About 3 weeks ago my best friend Amandas uncle was murdered in the doorway of his home. as you can imagine, the entire family isn't doing very well and all are on some type of medication to keep them calm. He was only 40 years old. The thing is, everyone thinks he knew his killer, as it happened in the morning-when his killer knew he'd be home from work, and he opened his door to this man.

Just yesterday Amanda told me that her and her aunt and fiance have been experiencing him and his presence around them. Like their tv's flickering on and off, and getting static, the answering machine with a weird message that doesnt say anything (that they could pick up) but with weird noises, her baby girl looking to the ceiling off to the corner smiling, things like that. So my friend knows that her uncle is around, which is bringing her some peace, but they still keep questioning who the man is that did this and WHY. Basically i'm writing to see if anyone has any insight or ideas, or any feelings about this to help solve the case. Just the other day Amandas fiances sister had a dream about the uncle whom she has never met, he was in her dream, seeming very angry that she couldn't understand what he was trying to say to her. He was trying to talk but nothing would come out and she couldn't hear anything he was trying to say. I guess I'm just wondering what else they can do/try to figure more out about this case, and if anyone here is good with these types of things?

Sorry for such a long post, lol but theres so much that goes into it. I appreciate all if any responses, thank you so much!

Jennie, there are some police departments that work with proven psychics. In a case like this, I would suggest your friend's family approach the detectives on the case from the direction of "we want to do everything we can to catch our loved one's killer, including having a psychic evaluate the case."

They may be met with skepticism, but if they are insistent, there is a good chance a legitimate psychic who the department has worked with before will be put on the case (especially if it is in a metropolitan area). More and more police departments are becoming more open to using this type of service. Most large cities, whether they admit it, or not, do have at least one good psychic they can call in. If you are in a smaller community, you may want to request they contact a larger PD for a recommendation. Do not be surprised if you are met with some reluctance; some are more willing than others to use methods such as this.

I know this family really needs some help, but I'm a little cautious that having too many people respond could actually work against solving the case. I've read about cases in which there were so many psychics and those who proclaim themselves to be, throwing information out to the police, that it actually hindered the investigation.

The family may want to consider hiring someone privately. I've heard of some grief counseling and victims rights groups having some legitimate psychics to help families. If they go the route of hiring someone, please make sure this person has references that check out and be very leery of anyone who charges more than a minimal amount for their fee.

Some police investigators have had excellent results from using psychics. I know if anything like that happened in my family, I would want as much assistance in bringing justice as I could get. I really hope this family is able to have the healing and closure they need.

See if they can work through their PD first, then try to locate one legitimate psychic to get their input on the case. One good one is all you need.

((((((hugs))))))

Thank you very much for your quick reply. I will tell Amanda what you've suggested as I never thought about that. But I do know that some psychics work with police departments (like allison Dubois)My friend , though has said that her aunt (her uncles wife who was there when he was murdered) wasn't allowed to be hypnotized as it would tamper with 'evidence' so I'm not sure that they'd be open to a psychic as it cant/wont hold up in court. Unless of course they cover up how they found out any information, I'm assuming it wouldn't be on the news that a psychic helped them, lol. And thats too bad. Anyway, thanks for your suggestion, I will let Amanda know!

Hi Jennie,

I just wanted to add that psychics are only a 'tool' for police investigators; they give leads and the police have to follow up on them and actually do the science (prove) things. If that happens, it will hold up in court. [Wink]

Good luck, and my condolences to Amanda and her family.

Best,
Kell

P.S. Incidentally, did this occur in Chicago or a surrounding area like Lisle?

thank you. I will be sure to bring that to her attention. But I know how some people get about 'psychic stuff' so I'm not sure how well the PD will handle her asking such a question, lol. Ignorance is NEVER bliss!

It did occur in the surrounding suburbs of chicago. there was another murder in a town called NILES (I too get it confused with lisle as well) on the same day her uncle was murdered. the other man, also was killed in his doorway, but he was shot to death. Her uncle was stabbed. Kind of sad that two deaths like this happened the same day, but more so because Her uncles homicide was kind of overshadowed by the niles killing.

You're welcome. I just wanted you (and her) to be clear that psychics don't necessarily "solve" cases, but they can give good info/leads for the police to follow up on. Particularly if the police are completely baffled... and I'm not so sure that's the case here. I know it's tough, but give the investigators some time to put things together.

I've never known of Niles, Ill. Hmm. So, is Niles near Chicago or near Lisle? Lisle came to mind for me (actually "Lyle", but that's not the correct city spelling), but I'm not saying that means anything; I just can't focus it on anything except the city name at this point.

Ahh..... I feel like I could give you more, but I don't want to distract too much from the police investigation that I'm *sure* is still in progress. If I 'get' more, I'll post it or email you... but please keep eveything in persepctive. Give the police time... they may well work it out; the two may be connected with either one or two suspects in both crimes.

Thanks for your reply again. I have talked to Amanda, and suggested that, and she said they told her aunt that they absolutely will not use a psychic and she is NOT to be hypnotized or anything of that kind. So lol I guess theyre not into working with psychics I guess.

You said 'ahh...I feel like I could give you more, but I don't want to distract too much from the police investigation that I'm sure is still in progress' By all MEANS pleeeease give any information that you might have. And feel free to post it here if you want, otherwise my email address is phatty0714@aol.com. Thanks so much!

I just have something to add about the dream - sometimes spirits do try to contact us through dreams...don't know if this helps
