This is the first post of potentially many. I think you all have a wonderful, positive message board here, and I am looking forward to becoming part of the community!
About me: I'm 27, f, and have lived in NYC for about 2 years. I'm here pursuing a career in the arts, which means that I work a retail job while going to school and doing auditions. =)
I have always had psychic ability, but it wasn't until 10 years ago that I started to seperate the normal stuff about me from the paranormal. I'm an empath (I thought everyone was - it was so natural!), which has always been my strongest gift. 10 years ago a guide introduced herself to me in a dream and led me through a series of powerful dreams; most of which were OBE. These continued over a period of 7 years, and then slowly my dreams changed in nature.
I still have the OBEs every once in a while, but I am now, in sleep, something of a beacon to the dead. It took me a long time to set up boundries and parameters for contact; developing a "safe place" where I can unconsciously filter them, and they mostly communicate with me one at a time now. My guide has since disappeared, and no other has made themself known to me.
This isn't something I talk about with my friends, just occasionally with my equally gifted mother and sister. I would be curious to hear suggestions or comments.

us.Sorry it took a while to respond to this thread.I have been busy
with the holidays etc.I also have been having to deal with some
minor health issues.
