yeah, strange... And you can seldom tell *exactly* what the dream represents. I suppose it made you wonder a lot...?

Interesting, Slyhorse. Ya know, you startled me because we have the same first name, and for a split second I thought you were talking to *me* about watching Law and Order and CSI. Hehe.

Interesting dreams. You were male in the one where you were driving away from something and had been shot in the shoulder, yes? And the woman in the front seat was the girlfriend? I'm feeling that the ghost died in the bed after he fell asleep, because the wound was more serious than he was letting on. Let us know if he sends you more.

Egh. Last night I was contacted about a very icky person. I experienced the dream through his eyes; in the dream he was a substitute math/science teacher who had taken the job to prey on children. And did he ever. He lured them to his office or home under the guise of a pizza party, and then did terrible things to them. Exactly what he did, I'm not sure, because I wasn't shown. (Probably some sort of sexual abuse.)

One girl with sandy blonde hair seemed to be a focus...in fact, I think it was she who was contacting me. She somehow made him feel like he was going to get caught; whatever methods he used to get the children to not speak up about him didn't seem to matter to her, and he was very afraid. Well, he beat the hell out of her and then strangled her to death in his office. I'm not sure that it was really recently either; her hair and clothes looked loke early 90s to me.

umpazumpa, and also... I'm only 2 years older than you. Lol...

In the dream I was shot on the shoulder I was me, wearing my favorite shirt back then (mid-90s) that I still have, although the size is definitely too small for me to wear it now.

In the one I was shot on the side, well, the whole story actually seems like something a man would do rather than a woman, lol. Moreover, the wound was definitely worse and he/I(?) was acting like it wasn't that bad. Maybe not to spook the girl?! I don't know... but I didn't wake up with the feeling I/he died, but rather some long recovery, longer than he expected anyway. I felt like the person who was driving in the dream had a dominant personality. In the house the girl was scared at first when I showed her the wound. Then, although she was very nervous, she did everything he/I told her to do. I/he told her where to look for all that we needed to for the improvised sewing session. After that, she left him/me in the bed to go to another part of the house (don't know which part), like she had to stay away from all this situation she was in.
The house was kinda small, with earthy colors, simple furnitures, but comfy and welcoming. All around the house was countryside, very quiet.
I never really analyzed this dream, but you (and Kell) got me thinking about a bunch of details. The last one is... both dreams happened in a time the relationship with one of my parents was really bad. Actually, it's still going on now, so I'm expecting some other wacky action dream sooner or later, lol.
I could probably quit my veterinarian job and go for some action movies screenwriting? lol

Dang, do you ever have one night without a dream or do you always have at least one? Interesting about the girl!

Well, I've found that the actual death in a dream can be fuzzy, or even skipped over. Much of the time the ghost doesn't understand that what happened to them was *their death.* A lot of times I have to guess that they died after the story stopped. Cases like the electrocution one are rare for me, when I actually experience their death with the complete knowledge of it while it's happening. But then, someone sentenced to die would be very aware of it, wouldn't they, and not surprised when they find themselves in the spirit world?

And even if you were "you" in a dream, talking to "your mom" and wearing "your favorite shirt," those are probably the spirit's easiest way of sharing their story. They were in the car with their mom, wearing their favorite shirt, so that you could experience something close to what they felt at the time.

Oy, I get a night off every once in a while. Hehe.
