If someone doesn't get touched by that beautiful poem then they don't have a feeling in their bodies! As I read it, my whole body got goosebumps and all I could think of was the nonsense that this government is bickering about right now. I'm talking about the ones that say that we shouldn't be in Iraq and we should bring our people home and so on, and so on....That to me doesn't show one ounce of respect or caring for those brave men/women defending our butts and they should be the ones on the front lines. Our military has all my respect for what they are accomplishing over there..if they would come home too soon (before Iraq can defend themselves without us), then all the lost lives would be for nothing. It saddens me to think that maybe our soldiers might be thinking that we don't care anymore. This US government needs to just SHUT UP!
