I just wanted to wish everyone at Spiritkeep and wonderful and safe holiday season! I know it is a little early, but I don't know when I'll be on with all the hustle and bustle of the season.

I am almost done with shopping - I did Real well until my ds told me he wanted a Bullfrog Webkinz - (from Santa) so out trudging through the snow I will go tomorrow to look for one. I tried on-line but the shipping cost at this late date was $20! More than the Webkinz! Anyway, ds very rarely asks for anything, so I feel like I should get this one thing he's asking for!

I am also going to do some holiday baking - We are a small family of three, so I'm not doing the usual abundance of cookies I usually do. Not to be Grinchy, but everyone I know (including myself) are on diets so I don't want to bake and have our stuff end up in the trash! So I'm going to do the really fun ones with ds - the cutouts with lots and lots of sprinkles and coloured sugar. Those are the ones we do together and that we enjoy most, so those are the ones I'm doing. I might also try my hand at the spritz ones, I've never made them before but they look fun as well.

I just finished my shopping this weekend, and I'm mailing some things off today to family out of state. I know it isn't going to get there in time, but it will eventually.

I'm cutting back on the amount of goodies I'm baking this year also, although I did make three different kinds of fudge!

I hope everyone has a relative or loved one that is going to have a new car waiting for you in your driveway on Christmas morning like in those commercials.
