You know I would be the one to bring this up. Please be kind to your elders ( me). Why is it believed that orbs cannot be seen with the naked eye ? They certainly can be. And I'm not talking ball lightning or the use of a camera or ghost lights.

I think there is a certain portion of folks interested in the paranormal who automatically dismiss anything to do with orbs. Sure, when dust particles appear on film, they can mimic orbs, but when they appear to be glowing, or they're especially large, I don't believe those are merely dust. I have known several very credible people who have said they have seen orbs with the naked eye. I've never had the experience myself, but I have no doubt the phenomenon exist.

I, too, believe that orbs are not just dust particles. Sometimes the paths the orbs are going is just impossible for a particle of dust to follow. They make sharp turns for instance, dust can't do that.
I haven't been fortunate to see an orb myself, but definately do believe in them. =)

Ah, beliefs vary from person to person. I've seen orbs with my eye. Very rarely. But I have.

I just don't believe that all the 'orbs' caught on pictures are orbs. I've seen great pictures that catch what I believe are orbs. They are similar to what I've seen with my 'nude eyeball'. But most are just light caught off dust, bugs, whatever. And as always I trust my intuition, my ability to sense things. Some pictures ring true while other don't.

But yes, there is a Santa Claus.... er I mean you can see orbs with the naked eye. But then I always maintain the possibility that I'm looney tunes as well. Maybe I just imagined them.
