Interview with Chris Holly - Publisher of Endless Journey and Paranormal Writer
Interviewed by Paul Dale Roberts, President - Jazma Online! - General Manager of H.P.I.
(Haunted and Paranormal Investigations International)
Question: Tell us something personal about yourself.
Where you were born and raised. Maybe about your family life, what
schools you went to, etc.
I was raised on Long Island -New York. I spent my younger
years between New York City and the country life of the east end of Long
Island. I went to school on Long Island and Connecticut. I lived most of my
life on the east coast of the U.S.A. but have spent time living in other
assorted states and Europe.
I have mostly been self-employed during my work life and
have done everything from Retail business̓s to ghost writing. I never listened
to being told I could not do something and always followed my own heart and
drive when it came to accomplishing things I truly wanted. Hard work and
determination mixed with research and willingness to risk for my dreams has
been a winning combination in my life.
I have had an adventure packed life filled with extreme
experiences and traditional living that has offered me an enormous amount of
background to share and write about. Like women from around the world I have
been a mother, a daughter, a sister a wife, a friend and a lover not to mention
an employee, a boss, a failure and a success. I have not wasted my days on this
earth and plan to continue on that course.
Question: How did you become interested in the
paranormal?
I was born to it. My first memories include those of strange
events and odd happenings. I was under the impression that the paranormal was
the normal until I was about 8 to 10. I then realized my life was somewhat
different.
Question: You write many articles for Alien Seeker
News and your own website Endless Journey. I am one of your biggest
fans! What motivates you to write and how did you become such
a good writer?
That is a very kind
Paul, and thank you for the compliment. My past motivates me to write.
Writing was a skill taught to me many years ago by a fellow writer I was
working for who simply kept rejecting my material until I got it right! After
time it became natural to me to be able to tell a story via the written word. I
would say it is easier for me to write about a person, experience or event then
to try to describe it. I find it a far easier task to write a long article or
chapter then to do a radio interview. Some people can sing or dance, some are
artistic with paint or clay. I find my talent and my passion to be writing. I
am at my best when alone with my keyboard.
Question: With all of your researching, do you believe
in ghosts?
I have never investigated a haunting. I think one area I
feel the most ignorant and uncomfortable would be ghosts, haunting̓s, and
energy I do not understand. I have had experiences I do not understand with
what I think was the spirit world. I know something is going on there; it just
is not an area I am skilled with or have much background in. It also is an area
that frightens me. Give me a good old UFO any day!
Question: What other paranormal subjects are you interested
in and why?
My main area of interest in the paranormal is with UFO̓s and
Aliens. The reason is due to personal experience. I do read and try to keep up
with all the subjects in the paranormal world but the UFO agenda is foremost
for me.
Question: Have you ever had any paranormal
experiences? Can you explain?
I have had paranormal experiences my entire life from age 4
until about four years ago. Suddenly when I came to the conclusion it was time
for me to start to write about my extradinary life concerning the paranormal
events that have followed me, the experiences stopped. It was as if I was being
given a safety zone to tell my story and being shown the road to do it.
I have had encounters with UFO̓s, encounters with lost time,
targeted with strange objects placed on my person, faced with a reptile type
creature plus other events. I have written about many of them. Many stories I
write for Endless Journey and The Alien
Seeker News are from my personal experiences.
Question: How can someone contact you?
Anyone interested in contacting me should email me at Chrisholly@ymail.com I welcome
all who wish to speak with me.
Question: What is the URL address to your website?
To reach Endless Journey:
http://endlessjrny.blogspot.com/
To reach me at The Alien Seeker News: http://www.alienseekernews.com/
Question: Do you ever think we will have absolute proof that
ghost exists or if there are truly extraterrestrials that live in our endless
universe?
I am not familiar with the current proof available on the
ghost question. I think we already have proof of the extraterrestrial
questions. The real question is if we will ever be able to deal with the
answers to these questions or will we be prevented from knowing due to our own
reactions and fears.
Question: What are your recreational activities and
hobbies?
I love the area where I live, as I am an hour or so outside
of New York City yet living in the country surrounded by New England type beauty.
I live on Long Island and am surrounded by beaches, waterfront and all the fun
that goes with it. All I need to entertain myself is family and friends. Our
surroundings fill in all the gaps once we open our front doors!
Question: What books, TV shows; movies, comic books,
and cartoons do you like?
I read a great deal and own or have owned thousands of
books. I love anything about the paranormal, history, the metaphysical, and
science. I am not a lover of the romantic novels or science fiction. If it does
not teach me something I really become bored with a book. TV shows include the
history, discovery and science channels, I enjoy movies that include all these
subjects as well, however will watch with glee any movie about cavemen!
Question: If you had 6 dinner guests, 3 fictional and 3
historical, who would they be and why?
Hmmm, this is a good question. Yoda, Rambo and Popeye plus
President Lincoln, Christ and Octavian, Augustus Caesar of Rome. Why I have chosen this group is even beyond
my understanding!
Question: At what age were you fascinated with the
paranormal?
The paranormal became part of my life at age 5. I was forced
to deal with it as a reality from age 10 on.
Question: This ends the interview. Thank you. Do you have any
inspiring words for your fans!
I wish to remind all our readers that Knowledge is the Key
to Life. The more information you can acquire on any subject is the key to
dealing with experiences in life. The paranormal is an area we all need to try
to learn as much as we can about. The world is about to go into many changes in
many ways. I think it is extremely important we all try to arm our selves with
as much information as possible, especially on matters of the paranormal.
Thank you Paul for your time Chris Holly
